Few lines on a rainy evening in Bangkok……….
As the rains slashed my window panes, a question whose answer eluded me till now, knocked again in my heart, question which is very much different from the Philip Kotler’s four P’s of marketing or question’s posed by our very own Prof. Ismail about financial analysis of some grand sounding companies whose existence I never intended to find out after the exams .So the question which tried to cripple my heart and entangle my brain’s blood vessels long ago, tried to do the same with me today. I tried to find an answer like a man searching for his lost shadow, but this time I got an answer, yes, I got it, its about ……its about….its about….alas it went away again from my grasp towards silhouette of the lost horizon just in front of my – 1.50 myopic eyes……never to return again. I started cursing my daily quota of whiskey for decaying of my grey cells. It kept me restless for several minutes and then suddenly my old but faithful Sony Ericsson rang, giving me a new hope. I picked it up with great anticipation, only to know that Bhargav is waiting outside the main gate, whose security system has been fixed today after a long time. A wild thought just galloped through my mind making me think that Bhargav might have the brought the answer; after all he is appearing for his MBA final Comprehensive Exam and also did well in the marketing paper(that’s what he told us).Well those who think that MBA comprehensive exam is quite an easy one then you are very much wrong. You should have witness how, after so much of preparation our old friend (in terms of age also) Brajesh, whom we lovingly call as Boor, miserably failed, only to bring more bottles of whiskies and chicken curry to all of us, as we used to reach his room by dusk, to give him company and offer our heart felt condolence. Well don’t think Brajesh to be any dumb ass, he has got knowledge from world politics to human psychology (or so he assumes).Though Bhargav didn’t bring me any answer but came with a packet of coffee and sugar…but alas this sugar turned to be some kind of Thai masala, anyway undeterred by initial disappointed, he got down to have his daily dose of marijuana. I also took a couple of puffs of marijuana with the hope that it might awaken my brain cells, which have taken a deep slumber from first day of my school life but with no luck. Then again my cell rang and again waves of hope rose in my pain embedded heart but only to hear Shivkant’s voice asking me to come to his room to wash last night’s unwashed utensils. So I made my way to his room without uttering a word and with new enthusiasm as I know that my newly made whiskey and sometimes beer mates are eagerly waiting for me to gulp down today’s quota of devil’s water. The question will come again as it has always been and maybe with it the answer someday but not the time which we spend with our fellow human beings. Maybe it’s the whiskey that has been calling me or maybe its something else….but I came to believe that instead of looking at stars brightly shinning in sky and attempting to grab them, we can very well enjoy the beautiful flowers that lies near to our feet, whom we can touch, cuddle, love, cherish…………………..maybe these flowers are my own world……..
A bleeding heart N some broken arrowz
Unfortunately my dream cumz wid a price. For every realised dream m still paying but in instalments.Someday sun will rise but not in the east side.It will do so in my side.It will be the day when i will have all the answers but nobody will be there 2 question.
M still pondering whether it will be my day or the day when i will sell my soul but it will be a day of a bleeding heart and some broken arrows
